JOB SUMMARY_________________________________________________________________ Performs preventive maintenance, problem diagnostics, and repairs on Company vehicles and equipment. The hours of operation for this job will be 3rd shift or night shift work. MAJOR DUTIES___________________________________________________________________ Troubleshoots vehicle and equipment operations problems, diagnoses and subsequently makes repairs Performs preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment according to standard schedules. Adjusts, repairs or replaces parts and equipment. Attends safety meetings and classes. Maintains tools and equipment. Maintains a safe and tidy shop. Welds and fabricates parts as needed. Performs related duties as assigned. COMPLEXITY__________________________________________________________________________ The work consists of related vehicle and equipment maintenance duties. The variety of equipment to be maintained contributes to the complexity of the position. The purpose of this position is to participate in the maintenance of company vehicles and equipment. Success in this position contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of a variety of company operations. Requirements KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION______________________________________________ Knowledge of vehicle and equipment operation and maintenance principles.
