We are seeking a diesel mechanic to join our team! You will be responsible for the daily maintenance and repairs of a fleet of medium-duty and heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Work will include in-shop, in-yard and on the road. Training will be provided on the job. Evening shift (4-12)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Class 5 driver’s license (other classes are an advantage)
• Some previous experience in vehicle maintenance or other mechanical fields
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong work ethic
  

  - Strong communication skills (English required, French an asset but not required.)

Nous recherchons un mécanicien diesel pour rejoindre notre équipe ! Vous serez responsable de l’entretien et des réparations quotidiennes d’une flotte de camions et de remorques de poids moyen et lourd. Vous travaillerez en shop, in-yard et sur la route. Une formation sera donné sur place. Quart de soir/nuit (4-12)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Permis de conduire de classe 5 (autres classes sont un atout)
• Expérience en entretien de véhicules ou dans d’autres domaines mécaniques
• Capacité à gérer une charge de travail physique
• Excellente éthique de travail
• Excellentes compétences en communication (anglais requis, français un atout, mais non obligatoire).
  Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
  Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 40 per week

• Saint-Laurent, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (required)
• heavy truck maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

• Following maintenance schedule
• Documenting and recording work process and repairs
• Ensuring stock of parts and tools required to complete jobs
• Report any issues or incidents to management
