Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines with a focus on the 6.9 IDI and 7.3 IDI platforms. Perform custom engine builds and assemble upgraded diesel components. Conduct performance testing and tuning to achieve maximum power and efficiency. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to implement innovative modifications. Maintain accurate records of service, repairs, and parts used for all projects. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all technical work. Provide technical support and expertise to customers regarding diesel engine performance and maintenance. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in diesel technology and industry trends. Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or technician, preferably with IDI engines. Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, components, and performance tuning. Ability to diagnose engine problems using diagnostic tools and equipment. Proficiency in assembling and disassembling engines and related parts. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations in a workshop environment. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Passion for diesel engines and commitment to continuous learning and innovation.
