We’re looking for a Full-Time Diesel Technician to join our team in Frederick, MD. Diesel dealership experience is a plus. Position Overview: Use advanced diagnostic tools to address electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues Troubleshoot and repair diesel engine malfunctions to ensure peak performance Perform inspections to guarantee safety and environmental compliance Collaborate with fellow technicians to prioritize repairs and maintain efficient workflows Keep detailed records of all repairs, services, and parts used, ensuring accuracy Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and other preventive services Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and repair techniques to continually enhance your skill set Requirements A valid driver's license is required for this position (CDL preferred but not required) 1 year of experience as a Diesel Technician preferred but not required Dealership experience is beneficial but not required Knowledge of diesel engine systems, electrical components, and diagnostic tools Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics Physical capability to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions

Responsibilities

The technician will use advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical malfunctions in diesel engines. They are also responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance and maintaining detailed service records.
