Requirements Average pay: $37/hour Top performers: $52+/hour Guaranteed 40 hours per week Full-time | 5 days per week | Weekends required Paid every Friday Why Experienced Diesel Mechanics Choose Kenly 95 $150 annual boot allowance $500 annual tool allowance Company-provided shirts, coats, and uniforms cleaned weekly at no cost ASE certification fees paid 100% by the company $250 bonus + commission increase for each ASE earned Additional $500 bonus for Master ASE Certification Meal, merchandise, and fuel discounts Excellent medical, dental, disability, and life insurance 401(k) with company match Flexible Spending & Dependent Care Accounts Paid vacation and profit sharing Tuition reimbursement / education assistance up to $1,500/year Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities Service and repair all makes of Class 8 semi-trucks and trailers Perform thorough vehicle inspections and document needed repairs accurately Complete repairs efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards Inspect completed work to ensure customer satisfaction Communicate clearly with Service Writers and other technicians Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized, OSHA-compliant workspace Collaborate with a skilled, team-driven shop to keep operations running smoothly Qualifications Verifiable experience working on diesel trucks or heavy-duty equipment (required) Ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines, brakes, transmissions, and other truck systems Ownership of necessary mechanic tools Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Team-oriented attitude and commitment to quality Desire to continue learning and growing professionally Must be 18 years or older Reliable transportation and valid Driver’s License Ability to pass background check, physical, and pre-employment & random drug tests Our Company has been family-owned and operated since 1964! Responsibilities
Service and repair all makes of Class 8 semi-trucks and trailers, performing thorough vehicle inspections and accurately documenting needed repairs. Complete repairs efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards while ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining an organized, compliant workspace.
