Description Diesel Technician - Truck MechanicMon-Fri: 8am-4:30pm Up To $1500 HIRING BONUS! Clarke, an industry leader, is now interviewing for a Diesel Technician / Truck Mechanic. This includes work at customer's site and work in Clarke shop. We would like to talk with you! What are the Duties? ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Includes mobile service work at customer's site and in Clarke shop work Service and Repair work, PM’s, Drive train, Steering, Electrical, Engine, Suspension, Brakes, etc. Troubleshooting and Inspections Diagnose and repair basic equipment wiring Good computer skills and good verbal communication Must be able to work independently EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE 3+ years experience required Certificate or Degree from Diesel Program Preferred PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance. The associate must be able to read and write reports. Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions. ?CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Valid Driver's License Commercial Drivers License (CDL) is a Plus Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card Why should you apply?
