Description The Diet Clerk will: Follow all departmental procedures in the preparation of diets for all patients. Ensure timely completion of departmental functions including catered functions. Prepare the salad bar, make sandwiches and put up desserts for the cafeteria. Coordinates schedules and activities of designated shifts, assisting as needed. The hours for this position are 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM and includes every other weekend and rotating holidays. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent One (1) year on the job training in food service Two (2) years’ experience (preferred) Basic knowledge of Nutrition Therapy Required to completed three (3) Nutrition Therapy sessions with the Registered Dietician Certified Dietary Manager course (preferred) Basic computer knowledge; proficient computer skills (preferred) Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $19.50- $23.00 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
