Job Details Job Location: Onalaska Care Center - Onalaska, WI 54650 Salary Range: $16.55 - $18.40 Hourly Job Shift: Day Job Category: Food Service Onalaska Care Center is Now Hiring for a Part-Time Dietary Aide (Driver) MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE Receive a $2.00 an hour differential when working on the weekend! Dietary Aides are responsible for preparing beverages, cleaning and washing dishes, assisting with the serving of meals, and providing customer service to our residents, while following food safety requirements. We have Full and Part Time openings available on the Day shift at our Onalaska location. This position works every other weekend and holiday rotation. We also have weekend only opportunities. This position drives a company vehicle to deliver and serve food for an additional .50 an hour (valid driver’s license required). Responsible for keeping foods safe, using time and temperature control for safety guidelines. Follows resident’s diet orders and preferences when serving meals. Cleans and sanitizes food contact surfaces and work area routinely, ensuring the highest degree of sanitation. Washes and sanitizes dishes, tableware, glasses, and other kitchen and dining room equipment/surfaces and ensures they are stored in a sanitary and orderly fashion. May serve meals in the dining room or to resident rooms or at Assisted Living Facility. Experience working in Assisted Living or Long-Term Care Food Service is beneficial, but not required.
