Description
Duties:  Collects menus on a daily basis, assisting patients with selections if needed Maintains friendly, efficient Spirit of Service attitude towards customers, co-workers and clients. Visits patients on a daily basis and obtains food preferences and allergies From preparation, through tray line assembly, to delivery and passing of trays, meal quality, accuracy and delivery meets and/or exceeds departmental standards. Stocks, replenishes, and sets up necessary stations in work areas. Breaks down and cleans stations as assigned. Follows proper portion control standards. Assures tray accuracy and adheres to proper time and temperature procedures. Works in accordance of job profiles assigned daily To ensure patient safety, adequate pre and post service sanitation assignments are followed as described in job profiles. Complies with HACCP guidelines including FIFO, Labeling, Dating and Food Danger Zones. Maintains adequate hygiene standards inclusive of hair restrains, hand washing, hand sanitation and appropriate use of disposable hand gloves Performs related duties as required or assigned while continuing to observing patient rights and HIPPA regulations. Responses to patient’s needs in a timely and professional fashion. Adheres to regulatory and Hospital Standards, Policies, Procedures and Protocols. Participating in all Department and Hospital in-services to ensure patient safety is never compromised. EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or GED Previous Restaurant, Catering, Health Care or Customer Service positions Prefered
