At Trillium Woods, you’ll find purpose, professional development, and a workplace culture that values you!  What We Offer:   * Medical, dental, and vision insurance  * Life insurance  * AD&D insurance   * Long-term disability insurance  * 401(k) * Generous PTO and paid ho * An exceptional work environment that is both engaging and fun   *Eligibility for benefit depends on the number of hours worked per week and employment classification.   Job Summary The Dietary Aide is responsible for preparing and serving therapeutic diet trays to health center residents in accordance with posted therapeutic diet menus.    Key Responsibilities:  * Prepare therapeutic desserts and salads as required.  * Serve meals in the health center.  * Sets up tables in the health center dining room and breaks down same after meal.  * Transport hot and cold foods to and from the health center.  * Transports all required nonfood items to and from the health center.  * Maintains station equipment and work area in safe and sanitary condition.    Other Duties:   * Maintains standards for personal appearance and cleanliness.  * Maintains safe and sanitary conditions.  * Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.  * Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.    Qualifications:   * Must be 16 years or older. * Previous experience in nursing home and/or food service preferred. * Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to understand measurements and conversions. * Ability to follow instructions and explain menu items clearly. * Team-oriented, with a focus on resident satisfaction.   Physical Requirements    Light to moderate physical effort 90% of the time. Must be able to stand and walk 90% of the work day; ability to stoop, bend and stretch frequently; lifting weight requirement will not be more than 50 lbs. unassisted.
