Reads diet cards, and serves meals accordingly following infection prevention and food safety protocols. Schedule: Morning and/or afternoons Must be available to work weekends Ability to commute/relocate: Los Angeles, CA 90033: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: Food service: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person Requirements Clear fingerprinting through DOJ and FBI and general background check Customer Service and Dishwasher experience preferred Must be responsible and sensitive to the needs of frail elderly in a retirement setting Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent certificate. Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language consistent with the dominant language of facility's residents Must be able to push, pull and, lift up to 50lbs
Responsibilities
The Dietary Aide collects, washes, dries, and puts away dishware, pots, and equipment, while also transporting food and stocking dining rooms under supervision. They must read diet cards to serve meals accurately while adhering to food safety and infection prevention protocols.
