Description Mount Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Manchester, NH is looking for a Part Time Dietary Aide to join our Culinary Services team. Mount Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Manchester, NH is a 120-bed facility offering short and long-term care in a warm and supportive atmosphere where residents are cared for according to their individual needs. We are proud to be a part of Catholic Charities New Hampshire’s continuum of care. Schedule; Part-time, 22.5 hours per week. Mandatory: Every Saturday, 7:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Plus two additional weekdays. Preferred weekday shift is 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.; however, a 7:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. shift may be accommodated if needed. Weekday scheduling is flexible. Dietary Aide Job Responsibilities; • Assist in serving meals that are palatable, appetizing and on a timely basis in accordance with current menu, following time and temperature standards • Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room • Serve food in accordance to current diet, texture and liquid consistency orders; follow established portion control procedures • Assist in checking resident meals or trays before distribution • Deliver food carts, trays and other items to designated area • Remove soiled carts and dishes from dining area upon completion of meal service • Wash dishes, utensils, pots and pans; return clean items to proper storage areas and ensure that they are ready for use for next meal Requirements · High School Diploma or GED preferred, or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position · Food service experience preferred but on-the-job training is available All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex or national origin, marital or familial status, age or mental or physical handicap.
