St. Teresa Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Manchester, NH, is a 51-bed skilled nursing facility offering short and long-term care in a warm, supportive atmosphere where residents are cared for according to their individual needs. Dietary Aide Job Responsibilities; • Assist in serving meals that are palatable, appetizing and on a timely basis in accordance with current menu, following time and temperature standards • Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room • Serve food in accordance to current diet, texture and liquid consistency orders; follow established portion control procedures • Assist in checking resident meals or trays before distribution • Deliver food carts, trays and other items to designated area • Remove soiled carts and dishes from dining area upon completion of meal service • Wash dishes, utensils, pots and pans; return clean items to proper storage areas and ensure that they are ready for use for next meal Requirements Requirements · High School Diploma or GED preferred, or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position · Food service experience preferred but on-the-job training is available All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex or national origin, marital or familial status, age or mental or physical handicap.
Responsibilities
The Dietary Aide is responsible for serving palatable meals to residents while adhering to specific diet, texture, and consistency orders. They also manage the setup of dining areas, delivery of food carts, and the cleaning of dishes and kitchen equipment.
