DIETARY AIDE LOCATION: HARLINGEN (VVSL), TX, 78550 JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team in Harlingen (VVSL), TX. The Dietary Aide will assist in the preparation and delivery of meals, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, and ensure compliance with dietary guidelines and safety standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to prescribed diets and menus. * Deliver meals to patients, residents, or clients in a timely and courteous manner. * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and food storage areas. * Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed. * Stock and replenish food and supplies as required. * Follow all safety, health, and sanitation policies and procedures. * Report any dietary or food service issues to the supervisor promptly. * Assist with inventory control and proper storage of food items. QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Previous experience in food service or dietary aide role is a plus. * Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. * Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. * Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed. WORK ENVIRONMENT This position involves working in a kitchen and dining environment within a healthcare or institutional setting. The Dietary Aide must adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a clean and safe food service operation.
