Description Conifer Park is looking for a Dietary Assistant to join our team in Glenville, NY. The Dietary assistant will be responsible for: Appropriately sets up food service stations and sanitation stations in both kitchen and Dining Room; Ensures stock is stored under proper conditions; Cleans, rotates and organizes storage areas; Assembles and delivers supplies/trays to admissions, crisis unit and patient care units as needed; Follows labeling and dating procedures; Adheres to portion control guidelines; uses appropriate serving utensils; Satisfactorily completes and signs off on all designated assignments on a daily basis; Utilizes, cleans and maintains 3 compartment sink/dish machine ensuring all items are cleaned, sanitized, dried and stored properly; Sets up, breaks down and cleans for special functions as needed; Assists other Dietary Staff as needed or directed, employees are expected to use teamwork to accomplish tasks; Assists in the orientation and training of new hires; Other duties as assigned. Day Shift Schedule: 5:30am-2:00pm Workdays will vary, and every other weekend is required. Requirements High School Diploma or GED preferred; Experience in food service and/or food preparation Vocational/Technical school in a related field; Spanish speaking a plus We offer competitive wages, benefits, and a pension plan in a supportive working environment.
