Description Conifer Park is looking for Per Diem Dietary Assistants to join our team in Glenville, NY. The Dietary assistant will be responsible for: Appropriately sets up food service stations and sanitation stations in both kitchen and Dining Room; Ensures stock is stored under proper conditions; Cleans, rotates and organizes storage areas; Assembles and delivers supplies/trays to admissions, crisis unit and patient care units as needed; Follows labeling and dating procedures; Adheres to portion control guidelines; uses appropriate serving utensils; Satisfactorily completes and signs off on all designated assignments on a daily basis; Utilizes, cleans and maintains 3 compartment sink/dish machine ensuring all items are cleaned, sanitized, dried and stored properly; Sets up, breaks down and cleans for special functions as needed; Assists other Dietary Staff as needed or directed, employees are expected to use teamwork to accomplish tasks; Assists in the orientation and training of new hires; Other duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma or GED preferred; Experience in food service and/or food preparation Vocational/Technical school in a related field; Spanish speaking a plus We offer competitive wages, benefits, and a pension plan in a supportive working environment. Responsibilities
The Dietary Assistant will set up food service and sanitation stations, ensure proper storage of stock, and deliver supplies to various units. They will also maintain cleanliness and assist in training new hires.
