    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Upholds Kaiser Permanents Policies & Procedures, Principles of Responsibilities & applicable state, federal & local laws
    • Operates cash register, accepts cash for food following established pricing guidelines & charges for catering, on-call physicians, volunteers & Food & Nutrition Services (FANS) employee meals
    • Replenishes food & non-food supplies in cafeteria
    • Communicates verbally w/ members, visitors & staff
    • Cleans & decontaminates assigned work areas, soaks utensils, washes & rinses, takes care of disposal
    • May train & orient new staff
    • Adheres to departmental policies & procedures in the performance of all job duties & functions
    • Demonstrates an understanding of the principles of customer service in interactions w/ customers & co-workers
    • Establishes & maintains courteous cooperative relations when interacting w/ the public, patients & other personnel
    • May perform other duties as required
