Summary The Food Service Cashier receives cash and credit cards as payment from customers for foods served in the Bistro, Baggot Street Café, and Lobby Kiosk. The employee in this role will provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to all customers demonstrating effective communication skills. Cashiers will also assist with the smooth operation of restaurant, café, and kiosk to include, but is not limited to serving customers, stocking sale products, and completion of daily cleaning assignments. Requirements EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE Education and Work Experience: High School transcript showing completion of a minimum of 9th grade or successful completion of literacy assessment. Prefer 1 year of cash handling experience SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS License Requirements: N/A Certification Requirements: N/A Age Specific Care Provided For: N/A Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize one or more of the following: Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel Microsoft Outlook Meditech (if applicable to position) Epic (if applicable to position) Performance Manager/NetLearning Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner. Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
