POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Dietary Aide / Cook to join our assisted living team at the Cottages of Madison. This role is essential in providing residents with a nutritious, safe, and enjoyable dining experience. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to quality food service, resident satisfaction, and cleanliness in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in food service, healthcare, or assisted living preferred
• Ability to follow dietary instructions, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be available to work every other weekend

• Assist with all kitchen and dietary operations, including food preparation and cleanup
• Prepare and serve meals in accordance with residents’ dietary needs and preferences
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed
• Review and understand daily menu and ingredients to support accurate meal preparation
• Follow portion control guidelines and food temperature standards
• Support a pleasant and respectful dining environment for residents
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and dining areas
