The Cook’s responsibilities include some of the following: · Ensures meals are ready at a specified time. · Follows types and quantities of meats, vegetables and soups prepared by reviewing planned menus. · Ability to follow therapeutic diet menus, recipes and instruct cooks helpers on the same. · Monitor and adjust heat controls, as necessary. Able to re-calibrate thermometers as needed. · Ensure kitchen and dining room area is clean and sanitized.
