We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Dietary Manager to oversee our dietary department and ensure the delivery of high-quality food services. As a Dietary Manager, you will play a key role in planning, organizing, and supervising all aspects of food preparation, production, and service. You will collaborate with the dietary team to create nutritious and appetizing menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. Key Responsibilities of a Dietary Manager: Developing and implementing menus that meet the nutritional requirements and dietary restrictions of residents, while also considering their preferences and cultural backgrounds. Overseeing food preparation, production, and service to ensure meals are prepared in accordance with established recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards. Managing food and supply inventory, including ordering, receiving, storing, and rotating items to minimize waste and ensure freshness. Supervising and training dietary staff, including cooks, dietary aides, and servers, to ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, as well as facility policies and procedures. Conducting regular inspections of the kitchen, dining areas, and storage areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including cleanliness, sanitation, and proper storage of food and supplies. Collaborating with other departments, including nursing, activities, and administration, to coordinate meal service and address resident needs and concerns. Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory surveys to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
