THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Dietetics Clinical Lead to support our Allied Health Inpatients at Mt Wilga Private Hospital! This role you will be responsible for providing clinical support to the dietetics team and ensuring high-quality patient care. This is a part time role where in addition to providing support will also be engaging in maintaining and improving clinical procedures within the team.

Your duties will also include:

  • Provide dietetic services within all ward areas of the Hospital, including inpatients, day program, outpatients and NDIS patients
  • Work in close liaison with the Food Services Department
  • Deliver nutritional related patient education in both 1:1 and group settings
  • Effectively provide assistance and support to the relevant Manager/s in the effective delivery of dietetic services within the Hospital
  • Have demonstrated experience working in a multidisciplinary team

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following criteria:

  • Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or a Bachelor of Science and post grad Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent
  • Membership with the Dietitian’s Association of Australia (Desirable)
  • Experience in a lead role and able to provide support to a team
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and problem solving capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently manage a diverse case load
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • High standard of customer service and a team approach
  • Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence based practice

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
