The municipality of Crowsnest Pass is located in the Crowsnest Pass of the Rocky Mountains in southwest Alberta, Canada. The area offers hiking, fishing, and mountain biking in the summer, and snowmobiling, downhill and cross-country skiing in the winter. As a Dietitian I reporting to the Manager, Nutrition Services South Zone, you would be responsible for nutrition assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of nutrition care plans for clients in acute care, continuing care, supportive living, and adult and pediatric outpatients in Crowsnest Pass. This position offers a variety of experiences in a rural setting and you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in Crowsnest Pass Health Center. Description:

As a Dietitian I, you may provide nutrition expertise to patients (clients, residents) in various AHS facilities and community settings to achieve nutrition and health outcomes. You may be responsible for nutrition assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of nutrition care plans. You may plan and provide public health nutrition services and education programs to promote healthy living and disease prevention for clients/groups in facilities or community settings. Nutrition education is provided to students and other healthcare professionals to support delivery of evidence based nutrition information.
