Part Time Hospital Details VibraLife is a Rehabilitation Center and Senior Living Community comprised of a short-term rehabilitation/skilled nursing facility as well as an assisted living unit. Located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Vibralife is a beautiful, one-story, state-of-the-art facility that includes the Vibra Rehabilitation Center and Vibra Senior Living. Expertly designed to address comprehensive care and living needs post injury or illness, VibraLife delivers a fully integrated care continuum for both patients and residents. Responsibilities Responsible for the quality of nutritional care provided to residents. Performs nutritional assessments/evaluations and makes dietary recommendations. Provides resident counseling and education. Develops nutritional care, and monitors and implements changes as appropriate. Implements nutrition therapy orders and verifies implementation of orders. Monitors and evaluates resident’s adherence to, acceptance of, and tolerance for prescribed nutrition therapy. Re-evaluates/updates nutrition care on a regular basis. Accountable for the planning and directing of the nutrition office. Required Skills: Bachelor’s Degree required. Current, valid, and active license and/or certification to practice as a Registered Dietitian in the state of employment required. Registration with the American Dietetic Association required. Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience required. Additional Qualifications/Skills: Current BLS Certification from a Vibra-approved vendor preferred. Knowledge in modern principles and practices of dietetics preferred. Knowledge in safety and sanitation standards applicable to food service preferred. Ability to project a professional image. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions. Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
Responsibilities
The Dietitian is responsible for ensuring the quality of nutritional care provided to residents by performing assessments, making recommendations, and developing/monitoring nutrition care plans. This role also involves resident counseling, education, implementing nutrition therapy orders, and directing the nutrition office.
