Our Opportunity     Work Location: Cloudbreak      Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples     Roster: 14 Days / 14 Off Perth FIFO     The Digger Maintenance Coordinator reports to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent – Diggers & Planning and is responsible for coordinating, repairing, maintaining, and improving production and support diggers to ensure the safe delivery of world-class availability and reliability. The role oversees digger maintenance activities in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner, meeting current and future operational requirements while upholding a culture of continuous improvement and reliability excellence.Key Responsibilities   Ensures efficient plant operation. Work with maintenance teams to prioritise tasks in line with production goals and operational needs. Develop and maintain maintenance schedules to optimise equipment availability and minimise downtime. Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs for digger assets, ensuring reliability and longevity. Collaborate with suppliers for parts and services, while providing technical support to maintenance staff. Qualifications and Experience   Mechanical Fitter Trade Certification or a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within the mining or heavy industry sector. Strong knowledge of digger mechanical systems and maintenance practices, with experience using maintenance management systems like SAP or CMMS. Valid WA C-Class driver’s licence and excellent organisational, problem-solving, and prioritisation skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. About Us   Be part of something big.
