ACCESS AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT:
The Digital Accessibility team within UCF’s Access and Community Engagement division leads institution-wide efforts to create inclusive and accessible digital environments. The office collaborates with stakeholders across the university to ensure compliance with ADA, Section 508, and web content accessibility guidelines, while providing training, oversight, and strategic direction on accessible digital tools, content, practices and policies.
The Opportunity:
UCF’s Access and Community Engagement seeks qualified applicants for a Digital Accessibility Program Manager. The Digital Accessibility Program Manager, leads the development and implementation of accessible digital experiences across the institution, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards such as Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and America Disability Act (ADA). This role collaborates with IT, communications, web teams, faculty, and external vendors to integrate accessibility into digital content, tools, and curricula.
This position also manages tracking and reporting systems for digital accessibility inquiries and needs, while overseeing staff and delivering training on best practices. Additionally, the role represents the institution in external accessibility forums and stays informed on emerging trends and legal obligations.
