Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCLIENTS (SUCCESS & RELATIONSHIP GROWTH)

  • Strategy & campaign leadership: Lead the planning and delivery of multi-channel marketing that grows brand visibility and drives customer acquisition for client accounts.
  • Budgeting & resource allocation: Set, manage and optimise budgets; deploy internal and external resources to maximise impact and margin.
  • Data-driven performance & reporting: Use analytics to inform decisions and ongoing optimisation; produce clear, actionable reports and present recommendations.
  • Cross-team collaboration: Work closely with Creative, Content, Web, SEO and PPC to ensure activity aligns with client and business objectives
  • Continuous professional development: Proactively upskill through training and certifications, sharing best practice with the team.
  • Build strong, long-term partnerships based on trust, transparency, and results.
  • Lead onboarding, check-ins, and review meetings to a consistent standard.
  • Identify opportunities to extend services and strengthen client partnerships.
  • Escalate risks early and manage challenging conversations confidently.
  • Represent the client voice within Planit Scotland, ensuring their priorities are understood across the team.

NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Day-to-day campaign delivery (handled by Specialists).
  • Operations and scheduling (Operations Lead).
  • Line management of team members (until the role grows into leadership).
