Position Summary: As a Digital Accounts Specialist at GLS-US, you will be responsible for managing and building customer relationships with new and existing accounts in the Digital Sales Market. This role requires a customer-focused individual who has exceptional communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple accounts and opportunities simultaneously. This position is key to maintaining high levels of customer retention and delivering outstanding service to drive sales and to contribute to the overall growth of the company. Key Responsibilities: - Actively engage with customers to establish long term relationships leading to growth and new opportunities. - Respond to and manage customer inquiries efficiently, ensuring all questions about shipments and services are answered in a timely and professional manner. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly by collaborating with other internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. - Conduct new customer onboarding training on the use and features of the GLS customer portal. - Facilitate submission of technology assistance and API integration requests to GLS Technical Support as needed. - Facilitate the submission of new scheduled service starts and account changes to GLS Operations as needed. - Work with internal teams to ensure pickup and deliveries are on-time to correct delivery locations. - Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions that align with GLS-US services. - Submit Delivery Service Agreements in line with approved pricing and volume commitments. - Identify retention opportunities and determine key areas for improving customer satisfaction. - Stay current with GLS service offerings, changes, and competitive landscape. - Refer prospects and partner with the Inside Sales, Commercial and National Sales teams on opportunities that are above the Digital threshold. - Participate in meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role. - Use Salesforce CRM, to submit prospects for credit approval, new account requests, pricing cases and account changes. - Log all customer interactions, calls and progress in Salesforce. Requirements - Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to manage time effectively, and work under pressure. - Strong negotiation and persuasive skills. - Knowledge of the logistics industry is a plus. - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred. - Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, with Microsoft Power BI knowledge advantageous. - Experience working with Salesforce preferred. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Highly adaptable with a professional and motivated attitude.
