This role will be responsible for launching and optimizing multi-platform ad campaigns, including programmatic display, Connected TV, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social and video platforms. A key part of this role involves onboarding and activating first-party data through platforms like LiveRamp to ensure ads are reaching the right policymakers, stakeholders, and constituents. This is a hands-on executional role ideal for someone with a deep understanding of data-driven advertising and digital targeting in the advocacy or political space.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience running paid digital ad campaigns with a focus on advocacy, politics, or public affairs.
  • Hands-on experience with LiveRamp or other data onboarding and audience-matching platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Connected TV advertising (e.g., via The Trade Desk, Basis, or similar DSPs).
  • Deep experience in Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and display/video ad platforms.
  • Familiarity with political targeting techniques including custom audience matching, geofencing, and IP targeting.
  • Understanding of data privacy rules, including GDPR, CCPA, and platform-specific policies.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with A/B testing and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in or with public affairs firms, government relations teams, or advocacy organizations.
  • Proficiency in DSP platforms such as The Trade Desk, StackAdapt, or Centro Basis.
  • Working knowledge of CRMs (e.g., Salesforce) and voter file matching strategies.
  • Creative instincts for messaging, storytelling, and ad copywriting.
  • Familiarity with advertising to legislative audiences or public officials.
Responsibilities
  • Plan, launch, and optimize digital ad campaigns across Facebook, LinkedIn, Connected TV (e.g., Hulu, Roku), display, pre-roll video, and other programmatic platforms.
  • Use LiveRamp or similar platforms to onboard and activate custom audience segments using CRM lists, voter files, or government affairs datasets.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align ad campaigns with policy goals, timelines, and audiences.
  • Manage ad creative development in coordination with designers and copywriters to tailor messages for each platform and target segment.
  • Monitor performance across channels, adjust in real-time, and deliver clear reporting with KPIs and strategic insights.
  • Stay current on privacy policies, ad regulations, and data governance as they impact advocacy and political advertising.
  • Work with government affairs, marketing, and policy teams to ensure integration of digital into larger campaign strategies.
