POSITION SUMMARY:

Seedway is seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Digital Ag Specialist to lead the coordination, sale, installation, and maintenance of precision agriculture and crop monitoring systems to ensure growers achieve measurable, successful outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agribusiness, Ag Technology, or equivalent farm experience with a strong digital agriculture background will be considered.
  • Passion for digital agriculture and eagerness to grow expertise in the space.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • Proficiency with agricultural technology platforms and tools is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to travel independently, including overnight stays as required.
  • Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive the sales and promotion of digital agriculture solutions and tools to maximize customer success and return on investment.
  • Professionally install, calibrate, and maintain digital crop monitoring systems on growers’ operations.
  • Maintain top performance levels of all equipment and digital infrastructure.
  • Support sales and product development teams with technical assistance and data insights related to digital systems.
  • Manage and track hardware inventory, including receipt, distribution, and on-hand status.
  • Build and deliver reports to sales teams showcasing grower-specific system performance and outcomes.
  • Develop business plans for current digital solutions and evaluate opportunities for potential new technologies.
  • Maintain strong post-sale relationships with growers to ensure continued satisfaction and improved productivity.
  • Continually research and recommend new digital tools and practices that could benefit farm operations.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and maintain connections with universities, research institutions, and industry professionals to stay informed on emerging trends and technologies.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, field days, trade shows, and other events through presentations and product demonstrations.
