Denver, CO or Carbondale, CO The Job The Digital Analytics Coordinator will work on the Analytics team, supporting digital media tracking, performance reporting and measurement for our clients. Responsibilities include managing clients’ web tracking, executing data quality checks, building performance reports, supporting media tests, measuring industry media trends, building ETL pipelines, automating workflows, creating AI agents, and more. The Work • Traffic digital campaigns and monitor the effectiveness of creative, messaging, and strategy for clients • Manage pixel placement and tracking implementation that allows for data collection across Facebook, Google Ads, GA4, Campaign Manager and more • Aid in ad tech implementation for detailed data analysis. Troubleshoot tracking issues and communicate with client contacts. • QA, clean and organize data to support reporting and semantic layers in the data warehouse. Support ETL pipeline builds. • Support the development of meaningful, client-facing reports to visualize and evaluate results across campaigns • Support the automation of analyses and agency workflows via data apps and AI agents. • Support design, execution and analysis of media tests. Support usage of advanced media measurement models. • Collaborate effectively with internal agency teams and occasional client contacts • Provide internal, agency teams with industry news and policy updates, as well as benchmarks and data driven insights on industry trends • Other responsibilities as assigned The Essentials • Bachelor’s Degree with coursework in relevant fields of study such as marketing analytics, data analytics, computer science, etc. • 0-2 years professional experience Your Capabilities • Basic understanding of and demonstrated interest in marketing measurement • Strong quantitative and analytical skills • Some experience with Tableau, Looker or another data visualization tool • Some experience with SQL and/or Python • Some experience with ChatGPT, Gemini or other LLM • Detail-oriented and extremely organized • Exceptional critical-thinking and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment that promotes collaboration • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships within the team and across the agency • Ability to prioritize and manage work assignments in a timely fashion • Strong initiative, a desire to learn new things and challenge the norm The Extra Mile 1-2 years professional experience In-depth knowledge of media KPIs, concepts, and terms Understanding of media measurement and testing methodologies (MMM, MTA, incrementality testing, creative testing, brand tracking, etc.) Strong experience with python, SQL, ETL process, and/or database design Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar web analytics platform Experience building AI agents Understanding of digital media operations (GTM, GCM, UTMs, pixel implementation, tag management, UIDs, etc.) Familiarity with JavaScript and/or HTML Understanding of Backbone’s core values A love of the outdoors A sense of humor Compensation Salary: $50,000-$55,000 annually Benefits: Health (including Employer 100% paid option), Dental, Vision, 401k match Perks: Flex time, powder days, wellness incentives, work from home/remote work options, office kegs, team hikes, floats, runs and playtime Be you, on our team.
