Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

Ernst-Reuter-Platz 6, in the heart of Berlin, is home to Alstom’s Central and Northen Europe regional headquarters. Up to 500 colleagues of more than 40 nationalities work here, focusing on project management, business development, and regional strategy, with a special emphasis on rail digitalization. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to Robert Heuser and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Data Analytics.
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with Power BI, SharePoint, and PowerApps.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis capabilities and a data scientist mindset for interpreting complex datasets.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; intermediate German is a plus.
  • Collaboration: Effective team player with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Project & Stakeholder Management: Experience in project management and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Scheduling Tools: Proficiency in one scheduling tool (e.g. MS Project, Primavera) and familiarity with others.
  • Data Visualization: Knowledge of best practices in data visualization and advanced Excel or similar tools.
  • Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of railway industry products and time-related contractual obligations.
  • Proactive Attitude: Curious, eager to learn, and confident in challenging and guiding teams with solution-oriented thinking
