Digital solution architects are the blueprint creator for an organization’s digital transformation. They bridge the gap between business strategy and technology implementation. They craft and develop technical architecture to integrate technology to produce a complete business solution. Their tasks range from application architecture to databases, as well as their logical interdependencies with business processes.

Desired qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software development, health informatics, or a related field is required or preferred.
  • Relevant IT and architecture certifications are preferred, including Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, AWS or Google Cloud certifications, and TOGAF.
  • CI/CD pipeline automation
  • Extensive knowledge of Agile Methodologies, UX Design.
  • Familiarity with Service Design, healthcare sector and regulations.
  • Hands-on development experience with:
  • Experience working with modern frontend JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, Vue, React) and designing single page applications (SPAs) using technologies like ASP.NET Core and NestJS.
  • Programing in .NET, .NET Core
  • Relational database development, preference is SQL Server
  • Implementing highly scalable solutions on Cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Programming experience in .NET, .NET Core, and Node.js with a focus on designing and delivering cloud-native solutions using these stacks.
  • Containers and platforms such as OpenShift
  • Application deployment automation using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and/or Azure DevOps
  • Setup and use of Git and GitHub
  • Experience working in an agile development environment and developing architectural plans that incorporate a citizen-centered design approach, with iterative delivery to meet evolving solution goals.
  • Setting up and configuring supporting technology and infrastructure such as proxies, web servers, certificates, etc.
  • Experience leading a technical team
  • Expertise in integrating with third-party systems, designing, and working with APIs.
  • Knowledge of case management platforms, such as custom-built healthcare solutions, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Salesforce Health Cloud, and potential integration points.
  • Skilled in data security and compliance (experience in the healthcare sector is a plus), with a solid understanding of encryption, access control, and secure data handling practices

Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work on high-functioning agile teams as the solution architect and participate in requirement design and architectural deliverables, as well as solving difficult problems with the team
  • Provide architectural guidance and leadership to teams and individuals, as appropriate
  • Give recommendations and creative alternatives to the business, work closely with the business development team, and work as a specialist to advise key partners on software development for a wide variety of business applications and projects
  • Understand and respect procedures and policies such as project management, configuration management, and version management
  • Build detailed architectures in line with the strategic and tactical objectives while respecting standard architectures and norms, draft and detail the structure, connections, and links with business processes, work groups, data, applications, user interfaces, applications interfaces, infrastructures, and network topology
  • Be part of a dynamic organization that seeks to investigate new technologies, offering expertise, creativity, and a top-tier professional’s point of view to the team, translate architectural decisions into general concepts, and review and create artifacts to ensure harmony with the global architecture

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • Demonstrated ability in solution architecture, working with strategic or commercial applications and solutions
  • Very good understanding of solution architecture concepts and methods
  • Previous experience in application development in a hands-on technical role, such as developer or database administrator
  • Experience in the design and development of integration components to integrate COTS products with enterprise services
  • Experience modeling sophisticated business processes and translating them into understandable IT architectures and designs
  • Experience in the design and development of systems and services focusing on scalability, high performance, and optimization
  • Demonstrated experience in leading the development of solution architectures for the replacement of and/or integrating new solutions with legacy mainframe-based applications
  • Proven experience in architecture planning, management, associated methods, and processes
  • Experience with the Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).
  • Demonstrated experience conducting and documenting assessments related to security and risk
