Description
Overview Milton CAT is seeking a visionary and strategic Enterprise Architect to lead the design and governance of the company’s enterprise-wide IT architecture. This role will ensure that technology solutions align with business goals, support scalability, and enable digital transformation across the organization. The Enterprise Architect will collaborate with stakeholders to define architecture standards, guide technology investments, and drive innovation. Responsibilities Architecture Strategy & Planning: Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks and roadmaps aligned with business strategy. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies. Ensure architectural consistency across systems, platforms, and projects. Technology Governance: Define and enforce architecture principles, standards, and best practices. Lead architecture review boards and provide guidance on solution design. Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational requirements. Solution Design & Integration: Collaborate with business and IT teams to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions. Oversee integration of applications, data, and infrastructure across the enterprise. Support cloud migration and hybrid architecture initiatives. Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with business leaders to understand strategic goals and translate them into technology solutions. Communicate architectural vision and decisions to technical and non-technical audiences. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and adoption. Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize IT operations and enhance business agility. Promote the use of modern technologies such as AI, IoT, and data analytics. Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and pilot programs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred). 20+ years of experience in technology, with at least 5 years in architecture or strategic/leadership technology roles (e.g., CTO). Proven experience in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman). Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), ERP systems, and integration technologies. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, or equivalent are preferred. Preferred Experience: Experience in industrial equipment, construction, or heavy machinery sectors. Familiarity with operational technology (OT) environments and cybersecurity principles. Experience with digital transformation, data governance, and business process optimization.
