DIGITAL ARCHITECT:

On behalf of our public sector client, Procom is searching for a Digital Architect for a one-year contract. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Edmonton office.

DIGITAL ARCHITECT - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The project involves service innovation, program review, and digital transformation projects for our government client. The Digital Architect will work as part of cross-functional teams to review current services, identify opportunities, and deliver efficient, effective, and affordable digital services.

DIGITAL ARCHITECT - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Strong technical understanding of current and emerging technologies.
  • Expertise in software architecture and strategic guidance.
  • Experience with agile software approaches and citizen-centered design.
  • Ability to analyze impacts, exposure, and risk in solution design.
  • Proficiency in creating solution designs for iterative implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.

DIGITAL ARCHITECT – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience in public sector digital service delivery.
  • Familiarity with common components and capabilities of digital services.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and integration strategies.
  • Coaching and mentorship skills for product teams.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the solution architecture of digital services.
  • Guide the team in implementing digital services.
  • Contribute to the architectural vision for a platform of user-centric services.
  • Develop principles, metrics, and standards for service quality and delivery.
