"The Digital Asset Librarian plays a pivotal role in the governance, organization, and stewardship of the enterprise's Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. This role bridges the gap between strategic oversight and operational execution, ensuring the DAM platform is optimized for usability, compliance, and scalability. This role ensures that marketing and creative assets are properly uploaded, tagged, organized, and distributed across platforms. The librarian will support metadata governance, system administration, user enablement, and policy development to support marketing and creative teams across the organization. Reporting to the Digital Asset Management, Manager, this role partners with technology and process leaders across marketing and related teams to ensure that the systems and processes for maintaining and delivering digital assets functions at an optimum-level. "Asset Ingestion and Tagging: Upload new digital assets (images, videos, documents, etc.) into the DAM system and apply accurate metadata and taxonomy based on established standards. Quality Control: Review incoming assets for resolution, format, naming conventions, and metadata completeness. Flag and correct inconsistencies or errors. Cross-Platform Distribution: Ensure assets are correctly linked or delivered to downstream systems such as CMS, PIM, or marketing automation platforms. Support & Troubleshooting: Assist internal users with asset searches, downloads, and usage questions. Escalate technical issues to the DAM administrator or IT as needed. Rights & Usage Monitoring: Track asset usage rights, licenses, and expiration dates. Apply appropriate access restrictions and usage notes. Collaboration: Work closely with creative teams, marketing managers, and external agencies to ensure timely and accurate asset delivery. Reporting: Generate usage reports and assist in tracking KPIs such as asset downloads, reuse rates, and metadata completeness. Strategic Insights: Analyze asset usage trends, identify content gaps, and provide recommendations to inform marketing strategy and campaign planning. Policy & Documentation: Support the Digital Asset Management, Manager to develop and enforce platform usage policies, naming conventions, and asset lifecycle guidelines. Ensure policy documentation and training materials are current and accurate. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Sites, and Workfront." Bachelor´s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Library Science, Information Managment studies desirable, or equivalent education and/or experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital asset management or library management, with a strong understanding of metadata standards and asset organization Advanced skills in Adobe Assets and metadata standards. Analytical mindset and technical troubleshooting ability. Problem solving using active listening and negotiation. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Attention to detail.
