Salary: circa £45,000, depending on experience
Location: London - Canary Wharf
WFH policy: Employees are required to attend the office 2 days/week

SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

Degree or equivalent experience in communications.
Proven experience in digital communications, social media management, and content creation.
Familiarity with best practice in website accessibility (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).
Awareness of best practice in search engine optimisation (SEO) and online user experience.
Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to write clear, engaging, and persuasive content for diverse audiences.
Creative and innovative mindset to develop unique social media campaigns and content.
Technical proficiency with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and website content management systems.
Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on insights from web and social media performance metrics.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure all content aligns with the brand tone of voice and is free of errors.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to tailor complex information into clear engaging content for different audiences.
Confident dealing with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
Experience of working with design software, such as Canva, Photoshop or Illustrator.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Digital Communications and Stakeholder Engagement - Senior Specialist will lead the development and implementation of the company’s digital communications strategy. The postholder will be responsible for the creation, management and delivery of content for our online communications channels including the corporate website and social media. The role will also require working with communications teams in DESNZ and our delivery partner organisations, Ofgem, NESO and our settlement agent, EMRS (a subsidiary of ELEXON).
