The Trust communications department plays a key role in managing the reputation of the organisation. It leads on campaigns; media relations; operational and corporate communications and engagement with staff; digital and social media content; communications with external stakeholders; corporate publications; and events.
The team is looking for a creative digital communications manager with has a proven track record of creating great content for online audiences across websites, intranet and social media to join its’ busy team. We’re looking for someone who is adept at using content management systems, has filming and editing experience with an excellent eye for detail and lots of creativity to help our content and digital strategies stand out from the crowd.
The ideal candidate will be a team player who knows how to prioritise a busy workload, use their initiative, and deal diplomatically with a wide range of stakeholders. They will be confident with leading on communications projects and plans, and problem solving any issues that might arise.
As the role is part of the Trust’s comms on-call rota, the post-holder should also have some media experience to support the wider team as necessary. The rota is evenly split among team members and in line with NHS Agenda for Change guidance this duty will come with a salary uplift.
To act as the Trust’s digital communications specialist, providing expert advice on all aspects of digital communications.
