• Reporting to the Digital Communications Coordinator, we are seeking a Digital Communications Officer who can bring their skills and experience to:
• Work collaboratively with the Digital Communications Coordinator to plan and implement digital strategies that align with Council priorities and community engagement goals.
• Work closely with other Communications and Community Engagement business units to effectively communicate with and engage target audiences.
• Create and deliver engaging and accessible digital content that supports Council projects, services, events and internal communications.
• Monitor and moderate social media channels, managing community interactions and tracking performance to inform future content.
• Manage day-to-day content updates for Council websites, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with accessibility and SEO best practices.
• Assist with strategic content planning, using analytics to monitor performance across digital channels and identify opportunities for enhancement.
• Support the delivery of e-newsletters and digital campaigns, including managing subscriber databases and campaign reporting.
