The Digital Communication Advisor will contribute towards the development, design and management of the department’s intranet and other communication channels. The incumbent supports the execution of departmental communication plans, strategies, and projects, whilst offering high-quality advice and support on digital communication to stakeholders.
The role supports the Strategic Operations team and department stakeholders to deliver digital content that meets best practice digital and knowledge management standards.

The role will:

• review content against digital standards requirements, and suggest improvements where appropriate
• give advice to content owners on digital standards and assist them to be advocates of best practice
• format content into correct styles and heading structures
• conduct technical checks on content, for example, broken link checking
• carry out other digital communications activities as required.
