What will you be doing?

  • Publish a range of high-profile communications, content pages, corporate publications, news items, and updates to the FCA website using the content management system (CMS), ensuring all activity follows digital publishing processes for audit purposes
  • Write, edit, and design content that is accurate, accessible, and user-focused – applying the FCA’s house style, SEO principles, and best practices in user-centred design and accessibility
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure content meets digital standards and aligns with the FCA’s brand, tone, and strategy
  • Respond to and manage content requests, including daily and weekly news, email alerts, and warnings, while also maintaining content accuracy for external audiences
  • Contribute to website improvement through user feedback, horizon scanning, and support of key projects such as the Annual Report and corporate strategy content
  • Monitor and manage shared inboxes (Digital Content, Webmaster, and FCA Digital), and participate in a rota system to support early, late, and emergency publishing requirements

What you will get from the role

  • Contribute to high-profile digital channels that positively impact UK consumers and the financial services sector
  • Be part of a dynamic, fast-paced Communications division, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Gain experience working on a wide range of projects involving multiple stakeholders and diverse audiences
  • Join a creative team that values and prioritises thoughtful, user-centred design
  • Develop a broad understanding of financial regulation and its role in protecting consumers during a time of rapid technological change
