MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college, preferably with coursework in public relations, digital communications, integrated marketing communications, advertising, journalism or related.
  • Requires prior experience equivalent to two (2) years of progressively responsible experience preferably working in communications, marketing, user experience (UX), social media engagement, web content management, or a closely related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prefers at least two (2) years of graphic design experience.
  • Prefers at least two (2) year of technical experience in high-definition video, audio and experience shooting press conferences and board meetings.
  • Prefers at least two (2) years of experience using of web development platforms such as Microsoft SharePoint, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), or similar.
  • Prefers at least two (2) years’ experience using Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Rush, Adobe Express, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar.
  • Prefers at least 2 years’ experience using email marketing platforms such as Mail Chimp, Constant Contact, or similar.
  • Prefers at least two (2) years’ experience using data analysis tools such as Google Analytics and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies.
  • Prefers at least two (2) years’ experience using applications and systems like Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

Responsibilities
  • Under administrative direction of the Director of Communications supports in developing and implementing a communication strategy that includes web content and social media serving as the Digital Content Creator.
  • Manages assigned website content requests and performs website content updates.
  • Designs, develops, and manages the content strategy of other internal IGB communications.
  • Maintains the new Microsoft SharePoint-based intranet site working in concert with IGB teams and the DoIT technical support staff.
  • Responsible for all audio/visual support service needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required which are reasonably within the scope of the duties and responsibilities enumerated above.
