Description
Position Purpose Responsible for elevating the brand’s presence through engaging visual design, compelling digital content, and effective communication that aligns with Marriott and Westin brand standards. This role will design and produce marketing artwork for all hotel venues, collaborate with departments on required collateral, and support strategic initiatives by identifying emerging markets and digital trends to drive revenue growth. This position further ensures all content – digital, print, social media, and on-property signage – accurately reflects the Westin brand and enhances guest engagement locally and internationally. Essential Job Functions Design, develop, and produce digital and print artwork for all hotel venues, services, and promotions, ensuring brand compliance. Create high-quality visual content including posters, menus, digital screens, social graphics, website assets, video elements, and other guest-facing materials. Maintain a comprehensive digital asset library and ensure timely updates of visuals across all internal and external platforms. Collaborate with F&B, Rooms, Recreation, Events, and other departments to fulfill signage, promotional, and communication needs., Plan, create, and schedule daily content for Facebook, Instagram, and other channels as needed. Capture photography and videography for use on own digital platforms. Engage online followers, respond to inquiries, and ensure active community interaction aligned with brand voice. Analyze social media performance and adjust strategy to increase engagement, reach, and conversion. Identify emerging local and international markets – particularly Guam, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and U.S. military segments – to support revenue growth. Develop targeted digital campaigns to promote hotel rooms, dining, events, and special promotions. Assist with marketing performance reports, competitor analyses, and market-trend monitoring. Support Director of Sales & Marketing / Marketing Manager in planning strategic initiatives aligned with annual business goals. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Ensure consistency of Marriott and Westin brand standards in all hotel messaging and design executions. Conduct regular audits of collaterals – including websites, digital screens, photography libraries, and printed materials. Prepare and edit press releases, letters, invitations, and media statements as required. Assist with property media visits, influencers, and content creators. Coordinate photography/video shoots with internal teams and external partners. Maintain press databases, digital archives, and local media connections. Support public relation initiatives for television, radio, print, and digital coverage. Process departmental invoices, contracts, and purchase orders. Assist with customer site inspections, FAM tour preparations, and promotional event support. Provide general administrative support to Sales & Marketing as needed. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Attending training sessions set out by The Westin Resort to ensure continued personal development. Supervisory Responsibility May supervise interns, temporary staff, or coordinate external creative vendors as needed. Required Knowledge and Skills Strong graphic design and digital content creation skills. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); familiarity with Premiere Pro / Canva is an advantage. Strong understanding of Marriott/Westin brand standards with digital marketing practices. Ability to maintain excellent working relationships with staff and ensure confidentiality. Excellent presentation, communication, and copywriting skills. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple deadlines, and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision. Knowledge of Guam culture, events, attractions, and local market dynamics. Strong understanding of social media algorithms and digital performance metrics. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Qualifications Required Education and Experience High school or equivalent education requirements Minimum one years’ experience in Sales & Marketing, digital content creation, or graphic design Special Position Requirements All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Preferences Preferred Education and Experience Degree or certification in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field.
