DIGITAL CONTENT EDITOR

We’re looking for a trend-driven and strategic Digital Content Editor to join the Digital Editorial team at Primark. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll create reactive fashion content that supports our trading strategy and strengthens our position in the fashion space — both online and on the high street.
This role combines creativity with commercial awareness. You’ll create on-brand, trend-led content that responds to what’s happening in fashion and be responsible for developing SEO-led editorial that drives organic traffic and supports wider customer acquisition goals.

Responsibilities
  • Create fast-turnaround editorial content in response to fashion trends and important trading moments
  • Have Click + Collect front of mind for new content ideas, focus on driving a high conversion rate through editorial and track the success of this content with the analytics team.
  • Use insight tools and competitor analysis to identify reactive content opportunities that increase engagement and conversion.
  • Write and optimise SEO-led articles, ensuring Primark ranks for high-value non-branded terms and is discoverable for key fashion and lifestyle searches.
  • Contribute to the Click + Collect content strategy, creating editorial that drives conversion and supports commercial goals.
  • Monitor and report on content performance, working with the analytics team to track success and apply insights to future content.
  • Collaborate with digital trading and product teams to align content with launches, seasonal focuses and collection drops.
  • Partner with the SEO team to input into keyword strategy and regularly add SEO content to the editorial calendar.
  • Support editorial planning and pitch ideas for new article formats, seasonal features, and always-on content opportunities.
  • Provide informal guidance to Digital Content Assistants, ensuring consistent tone and quality.
  • Support international content coordination, checking in with regional teams to ensure alignment on key cultural moments and campaigns.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, style and visual storytelling across platforms, working closely with Brand and Marketing teams to deliver a united voice
