CMHA is looking to hire a full-time, 1st shift, Digital Content Specialist for our Communications/External Relations Program. This position is fully onsite, located at 233 Main St. New Britain, CT 06051. Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm Compensation Range: The annual salary range for this position starts at $57,000. Compensation for each position is determined not only by years of relevant experience, education, and skills, but also by maintaining internal pay equity. CMHA also takes into consideration our benefits and paid time off package to provide a well-rounded and competitive approach to the applicant’s overall compensation.   Position Summary:  In collaboration with the Marketing and Communications team, this role increases public awareness of agency through storytelling, brand building, content creation, and digital engagement. Provides innovative, timely, high quality internal and external written and visual communications via all channels to support agency strategic direction and development. Assists with the development and implementation of outreach and marketing/advertising strategies to support agency growth, visibility, and impact.    Essential Responsibilities: * Develop engaging content and manage CMHA’s website and social media pages - Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube. Research trends and developments in social media and digital communications making sure agency is on trend. * Craft compelling written, graphic, and digital communications through interviews, photography, graphic design, organization of information, and research for use in all media to include articles, newsletters, social platforms, and promotional advertising materials for internal and external audiences. * Provide consistent public messaging across all communication channels. Assist in the development and maintenance of the “CMHA Voice” in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications team. * Assist in small and large-scale promotional video production with marketing and communications team, agency staff, and external producers. * Produce and edit short video clips for social media posts, agency recruitment efforts, etc. * Assist with implementation of CMHA’s external and internal events. * Performs other related duties as assigned.   Requirements: * Bachelor’s Degree with a Concentration in Marketing/Communications/PR/Business * A minimum of four years’ successful experience in marketing, communications, media, graphic design, public relations. * Digital Marketing, graphic design, writing and editing, and digital/social media content management are mandatory. * Portfolio required. * Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite, (Adobe Creative Cloud (or other industry standard creative design tools, i.e. Canva) Familiarity with website content management and CRM tools (Joomla, Squarespace, WordPress, Hootsuite, HubSpot etc.).    We care about our employees by offering benefits that strike a harmonious work-life balance.
