Overview A Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions on the Salesforce platform to meet business requirements. This role involves building and maintaining Salesforce applications, integrating with other systems, and enhancing CRM capabilities to improve business processes and customer engagement. Key Responsibilities Develop custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs. Customize Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, and process builders. Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools. Collaborate with business analysts, administrators, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. Perform unit testing, debugging, and deployment of Salesforce solutions. Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications and workflows. Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements. Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers. Create technical documentation for developed solutions and configurations. Stay updated with Salesforce platform updates, new features, and industry trends. Required Skills and Qualifications Proficiency in Salesforce development using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components. Experience with Salesforce declarative tools such as Process Builder, Flow, and Workflow Rules. Strong knowledge of Salesforce data model and security model. Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using APIs. Familiarity with Salesforce deployment tools such as Change Sets, Salesforce DX, or ANT. Solid understanding of database concepts and SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language). Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
