Description:

The Aga Khan Museum is seeking a highly skilled Digital Data Specialist to oversee the Museum’s Wynford site digital presence and products (including the Museum’s website, CRM, event planning and tracking software, digital streaming site, as well as the Aga Khan Park and the Ismaili Centre, Toronto marketing websites). The Specialist will be responsible for creating and maintaining web pages, ensuring the security and maintenance of the sites, analyzing digital data, managing the Museum’s CRM system, managing donor data and profiles, uploading, and managing multimedia content, supporting marketing automation tasks, and generating detailed reports for various departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum university undergraduate degree or experience in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum five years of related experience in an arts organization, cultural destination, not-for-profit environment, marketing agency, or educational institution.
  • Experience with website management tools, CRMs, PowerBI, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX) and website accessibility standards.
  • Experience with front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Demonstrated experience with reporting, interpreting analytics, driving insight-based performance, and communicating results.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite, macOS, and digital project management tools.
  • Technical ability and willingness to learn new systems as required for the role.
  • Creative problem-solving skills along with innovative and imaginative thinking.
  • Strong analytical skills, and an ability to multi-task with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work well under tight timelines or changes in priorities.
  • Highly organized, accurate, and detail oriented.

    The salary range for this position is $66,000.00–$72,000.00 commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Museum and site web pages, ensuring a user-friendly and visually appealing online presence.
  • In collaboration with various departments, update and manage website content, including exhibitions, events, and news updates.
  • Upload and manage multimedia content, including podcasts and videos, ensuring high-quality presentation and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to schedule and publish engaging digital content.
  • Ensure web pages are optimized for SEO and mobile responsiveness.
  • Manage external digital vendor relationships and SLAs.
  • Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve website issues.
  • In consultation with the Museum’s IT department, be familiar with website security and data protection, and troubleshoot issues as required.
  • Analyze digital data from various sources (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM, marketing automation platform, etc.) to inform strategic decisions.
  • Generate insights and reports on website and platform performance, visitor behaviour, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Manage and optimize the Museum’s CRM and track and analyze donor interactions and engagement.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date donor data, including segmentation and targeted communications.
  • Analyze donor data and inform strategies to enhance donor retention and acquisition through digital channels.
  • Oversee marketing automation platforms, support email campaigns, social media automation, and personalized content delivery.
  • Monitor and optimize automation workflows to enhance audience engagement and conversion rates.
  • Create and manage regular reports on digital activities, including website analytics, CRM performance, and content engagement.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Any other duties as required.
