Digital Delivery Systems Advisor Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity We support a broad suite of Digital Delivery applications, tools and platforms across Beca, working in close partnership with business teams to deliver practical, efficient and fit for‑ purpose solutions. In this role, you will build strong relationships with end users, internal stakeholders, vendors‑ and technology partners, applying your specialist knowledge to optimise and continuously improve the use and value of digital delivery systems across the business. You will contribute to and manage the delivery of digital initiatives, including deployments of core engineering platforms such as Autodesk, Bentley and ESRI, as well as business improvement and automation projects. Working alongside systems and software specialists, you will coordinate delivery across teams, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, to quality and with minimal business disruption. You will also support a product-led approach to the development of Beca’s in-house productivity tools, managing backlogs, contributing to roadmaps, coordinating releases, UAT and training, and communicating changes clearly to the business. Using a business analysis mindset, you will engage with stakeholders to understand needs and pain points, support project scoping, and provide insights into the uptake and effectiveness of digital tools and platforms. As a trusted point of escalation, you will apply sound judgement to diagnose issues, manage expectations and resolve complex problems, working effectively with internal teams and external suppliers. You will be part of a collaborative digital network, with exposure to leading edge tools and technologies, supporting teams providing efficient project delivery across Beca. Mōu ake | About You We don’t expect you to know everything from day one – this is a complex and evolving digital environment. The role is varied and often demanding, requiring the ability to manage competing priorities across support, project and product delivery while maintaining a strong focus on service quality and outcomes. Some aspects of the work are necessarily repetitive, and you will bring the discipline and resilience to manage this effectively, while also taking ownership of prioritisation, refining workflows, and applying sound judgement to shape how the role operates over time. You will have genuine scope to make this role your own, with opportunities to broaden your influence across digital tool deployments, business improvement initiatives and inhouse product development. You will bring experience in project and/or product management within IT or ‑software enabled environments, be comfortable working with technical software and engineering specialists, and ideally have some background in business analysis. An interest in engineering systems and platforms such as CAD, BIM or CDEs will be advantageous. While a formal degree is not essential, experience in IT, engineering, architecture or technology focused environments will be well regarded. You will be a confident communicator, able to translate technical concepts for nontechnical audiences and build trusted relationships across the business.
