WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE NEW BREED OF DIGITAL DIRECTOR
We are looking for a full-time Digital Director to join our talented team in Sydney who loves creativity, and the opportunities new technologies and thinking provides.
As a Digital Director, you will take full responsibility for managing your team and nurturing strategic client relationships for all digital activity. You will ensure the team are delivering impactful digital campaigns and lead them in crafting innovative strategies that deliver measurable results. With a focus on growth and collaboration, you will shape the direction of digital initiatives.
CAPABILITIES
- 6+ years of Industry experience
- Familiarity with emerging solutions such as Performance Max, Demand Gen, Advantage+, etc.
- Strong position on what constitutes best in class account stewardship and performance delivery.
- Proficient in using SA360, CM360, and DV360 for campaign management and optimisation.
- Knowledgeable in web analytics tracking, with expertise in Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
- Understanding of the importance of data cleanliness, consistency in naming conventions and taxonomy, measurement and optimisation metrics, and attribution.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex metrics into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Strong organisational skills to effectively manage team tasks and workloads.
- Committed to mentoring and developing team members to foster a positive and productive culture.
- Recognises the importance of process development and operational optimisation to enhance business effectiveness.

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Along with Business, Strategy, Planning and Investment leads regroup and discuss agency brief. Compiling questions to be shared and discussed with client.
- Supporting the Strategy lead across a variety of analysis including: Audience Volumetrics, Audience Profiling, CVP Alignment, Objective Laddering, and Budget Sufficiency.
- Lead the selecting of the best channel mix within the performance marketing lever.
- Lead the brainstorming of in-channel tactics.
- Support Strategy lead on the articulation of the suggested measurement methods across media, marketing and business levels.
- Lead the development of estimated reach and/or sales outcomes for each channel with the knowledge of the preferred media channel and tactics.
- Lead the summary of digital media channel investment, flighting organized by communications task.
- Lead the changes (if any) to channel selection, investment and flighting post-client feedback on Connections Planning.
- Along with Planning and Investment leads align on preferred media partners and briefing approach.
- Along with Planning and Investment lead develop media partner written briefs, inclusive of bespoke selection criteria. Plus leading formal communications with digital media partners to brief them on the campaign (either in person or over email).
- Along with Planning and Investment leads determine preferred media partners within each media type based on responses evaluated against bespoke selection criteria.
- Update estimated outcomes for each channel with the knowledge of the preferred media owner proposals.
- Along with Planning lead, update dd stock/ resonance scenarios with the knowledge of the preferred media owner proposals.
- Provide full detail on the selected measurement methods.
- Lead the capturing of all final channels, tactics, investment and campaign KPIs in a detailed client media plan.
- Lead the providing of detailed feedback to partners that missed out on bookings. Ensuring there is detailed justification for our decision making.
- Support Digital Manager to analyse the campaign’s ability to optimise towards desired results.
- Support Digital Manager to assess the performance of different audience segments and make recommendations on audiences optimization.
- Support Digital Manager to assess the performance of different creative assets and make recommendations on creative optimization.
- Along with Planning and Investment leads detail the extent that the campaign delivered on target goals.
- Along with Planning and Investment leads detail the extent each digital channel has delivered on the target goals.
- Along with Planning and Investment leads clearly articulate key learnings and recommendations for future improvement by channel and objective.
- Support Strategy team in summarising of regression, digital attribution, brand tracking…etc results.
- Support Digital Executive and Digital Co-Ordinator with all elements of the finance process, including: collation of written booking confirmations, finance schedule creation and tracker, finance loadings, Proforma checking, resolving any account queries arising from invoicing, and updating PO trackers.
