CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE & ENGAGEMENT

  • Champion customer-centricity by ensuring a seamless and user-friendly online shopping experience, optimising website functionality, navigation, checkout funnel, promotional campaigns and mobile responsiveness across all group websites.
  • Implement CRM strategies to improve customer retention, loyalty and satisfaction through digital channels, including leading the design and implementation of a new CDP and customer experience platform.

SKILLS YOU WILL BRING

  • 7+ years of digital / eCommerce management, ideally with luxury goods / retail experience.
  • Demonstrable experience of leading in the development and delivery of multi-channel sales, along with driving eCommerce capability and performance, ideally across multi-brand propositions.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce best practices, trends and technologies, finger on the pulse of future trends.
  • Growth marketing experience, with in depth knowledge and understanding of how to acquire targeted new customers cost effectively through the range of digital channels available.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and gain buy-in from multiple stakeholders both internally and externally, along with leading, inspiring and developing a high performing team to succeed.
  • Analytical and results oriented mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to make informed decisions and drive business growth.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to deliver on time and within budget, handling multiple projects at any given time.
  • Excels operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drives change effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; a confident communicator at all levels both written and verbal with accomplished presentation skills.

As out business enters an ambitious new growth phase, we are looking for a visionary Director of Digital & eCommerce to lead our digital transformation and accelerate online growth across the Bamford Collection.
Digital and eCommerce growth sits at the heart of our five-year strategy. Following the successful migration of our online platform to the cutting-edge Hyvä Magento theme, we are poised for the next stage of digital innovation with a bold target to more than double online revenues within three years.
As Director of Digital & eCommerce, you will have full ownership of the website P&L(s) and lead a talented team of 10 specialists across online trading, digital marketing, SEO, CRM, and digital design.
